Inventing a jetpack? Andrew Filo makes it look easy! I didn’t get to hear his entire talk, but was able to chat with him at the end while I was hanging out at the San Jose Tech Shop.
Part of the invention of the working jetpack involved funding from a very cool energy drink company that was committed to get this project through. Wow! Really neat.

Amazing! There is probably a woman prototyping the perfect man. I can’t wait until it comes out. I just hope it doesn’t create unnecessary market competition for the beleaguered American man, who is already going through a lot of confusing gender role innovation and now must also regularly be confronted with magazines telling him to get six pack abs. Maybe this is the healthy version of capitalism.
